Since 2020, the vast majority of casting calls for television and film will take place partly or mostly in a self tape setting. This provides both opportunities (several takes, relaxed environment, increased time to work your audition) and challenges (reader chemistry, immediate casting director feedback, etc).

In general you will receive all necessary instruction to successfully submit your audition either from your representation (agent) or directly from BDC.
